Date:

From October 20 to 22, 2026, a delegation of Indian companies is showcasing innovative solutions in the fields of water treatment, environmental technologies and sustainability at WETEX 2026, held at the Dubai World Trade Centre. The companies are exhibiting as part of the Bharat Pavilion at the event, organised by the Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA)

WETEX is one of the region’s leading international exhibitions, showcasing innovations and solutions related to water, energy, technology, and the environment. This platform provides Indian companies with an opportunity to present their technologies and expertise on a global stage.

The participating Indian companies are showcasing a range of technologies and solutions, including water treatment plants, membrane technology, pumps, filtration equipment, sewage treatment systems, underwater robots, and artificial intelligence (AI)-based facility intelligence systems.

Furthermore, the participating companies are presenting innovative solutions related to bio-culture, odor control, energy, automation, analytical and process applications and environmental sustainability.

International exhibitors participating for the first time expressed positive expectations regarding expansion into the Gulf market. They highlighted the quality and competitiveness of Indian water treatment solutions and described WETEX as a platform for connecting with professionals from the global industry.

The India Pavilion is organized by the Services Export Promotion Council (SEPC), under the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India. Its objective is to promote the export of Indian services and strengthen international trade relations. It provides a platform for Indian companies to connect with global buyers and potential partners, and to explore opportunities for distribution agreements, joint ventures, and project collaborations.

This initiative is supported under the Government of India’s ‘Export Promotion Mission,’ which provides assistance to eligible Indian exhibitors toward the costs of participation. The SEPC is helping Indian businesses explore new opportunities in the Gulf region. India’s participation in WETEX 2026 highlights the country’s growing capabilities in the field of water and environmental technologies, as well as its commitment to promoting the export of services through international partnerships.
